I've been bargain snatching..
I'm notorious for refusing to buy makeup on the basis that its a few pounds more expensive that I wish to spend or seeing my favourite make up at full price and purposely waiting until they're on offer to buy in bulk..
Well this weekend I sinned.. I bought Primark makeup.
To be fair I had good reason, I'm absolutely awful at applying liquid eyeliner - slaps wrist- so spending top dollar really is a waste for me.. & when Primark dangle a big 'ole 25p carrot in front of my nose.. I can't help but bite.
Yep, that's right I've bought an eyeliner for 25 pence.
But c'mon I am a bargain beauty blogger (or I try to be) so its a must have.
The way I see it. I need something cheap to play with before I commit to liquid and dump my forever faithful pencil liner in the bin!
Thus far I haven't been mega successful with keeping my lines completely neat, but I'm certainly getting on better than I expected & I'm actually quite surprised by the quality.
The black is intense, a much darker colour than my pencil liner (which is always a plus) & Its had a great impact on my eyes. So far it hasn't cracked or smudged.
I think soon I'll be a little braver and buy a good quality gel liner as I'm definitely becoming a convert, especially for nights out or evening makeup!
Have you ever tried Primark makeup?

Since going back to Primark to stock up, it appears that the liner is now £1
ReplyDelete- So I guess I got lucky and got a reduced one! But I'll definitly be looking out for more reduced items..
but £1 is still a more than reasonable price!
