im-PRESS stick on manicure | Totally Busted

It feels like a lifetime since I last did an NOTD post!
But here we go, my latest cheap stick on nail find.

So I was having a quick browse in Superdrug last week & I came across these vibrantly coloured stick on nail sets, which feature sticky pads rather than glue. To be honest I've always used a strong nail glue for my falsies, just because I find they last longer that way.  & In my experience the glues provided in cheap nail packets are only good for 1 days wear.

Well the im-PRESS stick on manicure states that it is a fast & easy, revolutionary way to apply polish.
+  No drying time
+  Superior, lasting shine
+  Easy removal
+  Lasts up to a week

I really wish I could give you a raving good review on these, but honestly I was severely disappointed. The stick on pads weren't strong enough at all & in fact the thumb nails flicked off repeatedly as I was trying to apply the other nails. Not to mention I lost 2 or 3 within the first hour of applying. - They weren't kidding about the "easy removal" spiel.
I did eventually apply some of my strong nail glue to keep them in place because the colour is fantastic & they resemble shellac nails but for a fraction of the price.

I don't think I'll be reaching for these again any time soon but for £5.99 they didn't exactly break the bank. The only plus side is the brand have a great selection on colour & prints over in Superdrug. But I would highly recommend buying some strong glue to keep them in place, as I certainly don't believe that they would last up to a week with just the sticky pads.

Have you ever tried im-Press stick on manicures?

    1. The colour was lovely just the sticky pads were a problem. Don't forget to pick up some strong glue if you don't have any already chick

    1. I wouldn't recommend cutting them chick, they seem to be quite thick & I doubt they'd smoothen out with a nail file

    1. Yeah I definitely wasn't keen on them either. But I wouldn't go as far as saying I hated them, I was just a tad disappointed.
On a brighter note the colours they come in are stunning & the nail varnish bottle case is cute!
