Lush Whoosh Temple Balm | Review

You may have seen last week that I was a very lucky ducky & managed to secure a place at the Lush Leeds Spa 4th birthday party. As a part of the birthday celebrations, myself and a handful of other lovely bloggers were invited down to the spa to have some taster treatments & received a very generous goody bag!

In my goody bag I found the Whoosh Temple balm. I'm allergic to Lavender so I wasn't able to use the one they have as an exclusive to the spa, but luckily they had one of these to hand so I still experienced their amazing temple massages.
At home I've been experimenting with the balm on Creature. He's not a big product fan, - soap & water bloke - but the offer of a free massage was too much to resist. Like me, he's put off by odd smells, but the Whoosh balm is a lovely citrus scent & really wakes up the sinuses.

What Lush Say:
"Whoosh is for when you’re feeling tired or overworked and need to perk up and focus your mind. Do you need to look bright and alert after a sleepless night? Do you sometimes feel your eyes start to droop in a boring meeting? Just reach into your bag or pocket and discreetly dab your temple with a little Whoosh. The zingy citrus fragrance will go straight to your brain, giving you a little boost and helping you get through those difficult days"

I'm not going to lie, I don't know the first thing about massaging, but I started with rubbing some of the Whoosh balm on my fingers & worked applying light pressure from above the brow & down to the temple. I didn't even need too much product either, it seemed to spread really well & glide nicely across the skin.
Creature was like mush afterwards & agreed the product is really relaxing but although the massage left him feeling relaxed, the citrus smell really helped his eye area feel awake and fresh. The smell of Whoosh really helps to wake up the eye area & I suspect even help with a touch of cold or flu! I personally felt really relaxed after my massage in the spa & really rate this balm!

Have you ever tried a Lush Temple Balm?
