Last week I had the privilege to attend the Morgan Clare Fashion Bloggers Event in Harrogate, for a night of champagne, cupcakes & catwalks. - Well they pretty much had me at the mention of Champers but I was intrigued at the idea of an exclusive catwalk show from Voir Magazine too.
A little background info on Morgan Clare:
"Morgan Clare first opened its doors in 1997, as a small boutique in the beautiful spa town of Harrogate. Specialising in the cream of British design, Morgan Clare achieved the accolade of "Best New Store" and with expansion and the introduction of international labels went on to win "Best Designer Store". In just over a decade we have evolved to a spacious modern boutique store winning Britain's Best Boutique recognition from Vogue"
I travelled up with the lovely Jessica from Forever Miss Vanity, we both study Journalism at Hudds so it was nice to have someone there I knew & who could help navigate to the store. We did end up in a right pickle though, after Jess's phone died & my crap Orange 'smart' phone decided to tell us we were in a completely different location, we spent a good half an hour searching for a store that was technically only a 5 minute walk away from the station!
As you can see, we did eventually find our way. On walking in, immediately we were introduced to some of the marketing team for Morgan Clare & were handed a generous glass of champers. The first half of the night was spent lusting after some of the gorgeous Cashmere Sweaters and their amazing collection of Alexander McQueen handbags & clothing!
So, after chowing down on some of their delicious mini cupcakes & having more of a wander around the store, we were then treated to the fabulous Voir Magazine catwalk show.
The hair & makeup were amazing, I loved the dramatic smoky eye look, very striking. & I have to admit, I came away feeling great about my choice of outfit for the evening, as cashmere jumpers were styled on the models several times. (See my OOTN post here)
My favourite dress of the evening had to be the gorgeous MSGM Floral Flute Bottom Dress modelled beautifully by Kel from Kel Loves in the photos above.

The evening was finished off by a quick browse of the second level of Morgan Clare, more lusting after expensive but amazing dresses, even more cupcake gobbling & a lovely goody bag for all who attended. - Thank you to Morgan Clare for the invitation to a lovely mid week treat, I thoroughly enjoyed myself & had a very satisfying champagne head ache the next morning!
I think we all fell a bit in love with that dress!
