No7 beautiful eyebrow pencil | Review

 Can you believe that up until 2 years ago, I never pencilled in my eyebrows.. And what's even more shocking is that my eyebrows are naturally white! Yep, I looked like I had no brows at all!
Since then I've tried various pallets & eventually stuck with the MUA pro-brow kit, opting however to use my own brow sculpting brush rather than the small one provided.

After misplacing my brow brush last week, I decided to branch out to a brow pencil instead. I have used them before, but mostly cheaper options, and the majority didn't impress me. However my Mama is an avid No7 user so whilst in the small Boots at Leeds train station , I decided to give the No7 beautiful eyebrow pencil a whirl.

So first off, the pencil is double ended. One side has the pencil, and the other a brush which is great for shaping your eyebrows pre-pencil. Previously I've been a squared 'scouse brow' fan but with the pencil I find it easier to achieve a rounded more natural eyebrow shape.
The pencil is a happy medium between soft and hard in texture. this means it's great for scultping and shaping, but it's also super pigmented too, so you can build up from a medium brown to a dark. - Personally I like mine darker despite my strawberry blonde locks.

I must say, I love the colour, it's a very natural shade of brown and blends beautifully with my eyebrows. And to be honest I think I may have found my new favourite brow product. I'm definitely a rounded convert, since swapping to the natural round shape, I feel it's framed my face far better than my previous scouse brow look.

So, overall I rate this product 5/5. It's practical, easy to use, great pigmentation, lovely colour & the shaping brush really comes in handy if you have stray hairs. No7 I salute you for creating such a fabulous pencil!

MAC and lip products are two of my most-loved things in the make-up world. MAC have never failed for me on a product and I have more lip products out of any type of cosmetic item in my collection. I'm always drawn to a pretty lipstick or gloss.What with us being in the throes of Summer (the weather here seems to think otherwise), I've had a rummage through my MAC collection and have picked out five very different shades, all perfect for Summer days. When I think of Summer, I think of bright, electric shades mixed in with soft, girly colours.

L-R:
 | MAC Orange Tempera Lipglass | MAC Girl About Town Lipstick | MAC Full Fuchsia Lipstick |
MAC Neon Orange Lipstick | MAC Extra Amps Dazzleglass |

Orange Tempera Lipglass is a peachy-coral shade, which was part of the Hey, Sailor! collection. It's quite a milky colour, so it may come off quite stark on certain people. Nevertheless, it screams Summer to me and I don't have any other shade like it in my whole lip product collection.

 Girl About Town Lipstick is a bright, blue-toned fuchsia with an Amplified finish. This means that the colour pay-off packs an extra punch, which you can see from the picture above. It's super bold and fabulous for statement lips.

Full Fuchsia Lipstick is a bright, fuchsia pink. Compared to the swatch of Girl About Town, it looks like more of a reddy pink. This formula is creamy and also gives a nice shine. Combine this with a neutral eye look and you're ready to go!

Neon Orange Lipstick is a wonderful bright, bright, bright orange. Trust me, it's more wearable than you think. This is another super unique shade from my collection, and I love wearing it for maximum colour impact. You'll turn heads with this one.

& Finally;

Extra Amps Dazzleglass is a colour for those of you who want simple but absolutely beautiful at the same time. MAC describes this as a "sheer bright blue pink with blue and pink pearl", which to me is pretty accurate. The gorgeous sparkle in this gloss with catch the sunlight and will last for ages with it's great staying power.

I hope you've enjoyed reading my little guest post for Kerys, and that you'll check out my beauty blog for more make-up goodness.
