No7 beautiful eyebrow pencil | Review

Can you believe that up until 2 years ago, I never pencilled in my eyebrows.. And what's even more shocking is that my eyebrows are naturally white! Yep, I looked like I had no brows at all!
Since then I've tried various pallets & eventually stuck with the MUA pro-brow kit, opting however to use my own brow sculpting brush rather than the small one provided.

After misplacing my brow brush last week, I decided to branch out to a brow pencil instead. I have used them before, but mostly cheaper options, and the majority didn't impress me. However my Mama is an avid No7 user so whilst in the small Boots at Leeds train station , I decided to give the No7 beautiful eyebrow pencil a whirl.

So first off, the pencil is double ended. One side has the pencil, and the other a brush which is great for shaping your eyebrows pre-pencil. Previously I've been a squared 'scouse brow' fan but with the pencil I find it easier to achieve a rounded more natural eyebrow shape.
The pencil is a happy medium between soft and hard in texture. this means it's great for scultping and shaping, but it's also super pigmented too, so you can build up from a medium brown to a dark. - Personally I like mine darker despite my strawberry blonde locks.

I must say, I love the colour, it's a very natural shade of brown and blends beautifully with my eyebrows. And to be honest I think I may have found my new favourite brow product. I'm definitely a rounded convert, since swapping to the natural round shape, I feel it's framed my face far better than my previous scouse brow look.

So, overall I rate this product 5/5. It's practical, easy to use, great pigmentation, lovely colour & the shaping brush really comes in handy if you have stray hairs. No7 I salute you for creating such a fabulous pencil!

Are you a pallet or brow pencil fan?

Don't you just love a good sale?
I've been steadily purchasing over the past few weeks, and clearing out a lot of my old clothes to make space for a 'new me' vibe in my wardrobe. Can you believe I found 14 pairs of jeans?! I've thrown out over half of them, keeping only my favourites.

So I hit Primark last week and found one of the floral shirts & the necklace above. They're weren't on sale, but it always feels like sale prices anyway.. I loved the blouse so much that I went back and bought it in 2 other patterns later on. They're over sized & longer at the back, so look unbelievably flattering with a pair of turned up jeans.

I'm in absolute love with my boots & bag. The shoes were a planned buy, I'd seen them a few weeks ago full price at £35, but when I went in looking for suit shoes for Creature I found the last pair of 3's reduced to £24.. Fate! - The bag however was 1/2 price & a complete impulse buy. I love envelope clutches & this one is huge. Perfect to hit all my crap in for a night out & big enough for all occasions.

I have a bit of an obsession with shift dresses at the moment, they seem to be the only thing that flatters my figure. So the warehouse dress was reduced from £50 & was like gold dust to get hold of! I eventually tracked it down & bagged the last one in my size too. The powder blue colour is something I don't have in my wardrobe at the moment & I can help but think this would look perfect for my graduation this summer too.

Have you hit the January sales?

Soap and Glory Small Wonders | Review

Hey Dears,
So in my last post I mentioned I've been trying out the Soap & Glory products I got for Christmas from Family & after a few showers and testers, I think I'm just about ready to give you an honest review.

Now, I've tried S&G before, & I've been pretty impressed. They always smell good, the packaging is really pretty & for the most part the gift packs come with reusable boxes or bags.

This year I've managed to get my mitts on the Small Wonders box set. The box is adorable, sort of like a mini hat box & is currently in my bathroom storing some of my toiletries away.
 But anyways, In the Small wonders box you will find a collection of miniature S&G classics;

CLEAN ON ME, shower gel 50ml
THE RIGHTEOUS BUTTER, body butter 50ml
THE SCRUB OF YOUR LIFE, body scrub 50ml
HAND FOOD, hand cream 50ml
& a super cute SHOWER PUFF!

So far the only product I haven't really played with is the hand cream. I've used it a few times but I've been swapping my bags around like a woman possessed so its been lost in the pile! - However from the few times I have used it, I've quite enjoyed it. The smell is subtle but keeps your skin well hydrated.

The shower poof & shower gel have definitely been my favourites so far, I've been religiously using the scrub, gel & body butter with my shower routine this week to get maximum effect & I must admit, they are pretty good. The scrub isn't as impressive as some other I have (e.g. Amazene avocado scrub) Although the smell is a lot more attractive.

The Body butter has been a little disappointing for me though. My first attempt at using it was a little strange. Admittedly I should have read the label first, but after my shower I dried myself & picked up the butter to test... & what can only be described as the feeling of smearing VA glue on my skin occurred!
- I realise now that I have to use it whilst my skin is still damp & attempts since have been a lot smoother, but for those days where I just want to butter up quickly before nipping out, this butter isn't going to hack it!

I really do love S&G but I do think a few of their products are hit and miss. For me the butter just isn't going to top trump some of my old faithful's. But the hand cream definitely needs to be used more often & I'm still in love with the smell of all the products!

Did you get any S&G Products for Christmas?
What is your favourite product?
