Faux fur | OOTD

| Hat & Scarf - Next | Coat & Bag - H&M | Jeans - Mango | Boots - Zara | Watch - Michael Kors |

Apologies for some of the photos being slightly out of focus, I'm not entirely sure what was going on with the camera today.

So with the winds turning icy and summer way behind us, the faux fur scarfs & stoles have come out in force. For my birthday I received £30 worth of Next vouchers from my Nana and Granddad, and in all honestly I had my heart set on a cute little dress I'd been internet stalking. But after having no luck finding the allusive Topshop mixed tone stole I instantly fell in love with this grey fur scarf & black Cossack hat.

I also treated myself to this lovely black wool coat on Black Friday (my actual birthday too - yippie). H&M were offering 20% for students, so I couldn't resist.. Only on the way to the till I also spotted a huge black boxy handbag, which was no sooner dragged to the check out too!

The finished look, teamed with my trusty Mango Elektra jeans is definitely a favourite in my wardrobe at the moment. Simple, comfortable but effortlessly stylish with the addition of my fur accessories.

Have you invested in any faux fur?

My Birthday weekend | & presents that made me cry

I've finally got around to writing about my birthday weekend! - Only 2 weeks late..
With uni work piling up & graduation sneaking up far too quickly, I regret that Little Bo Blab is taking a back foot lately. But I'm back, scheduling a tonne of posts & hoping for some time to blog between working at Christmas!

So, my birthday. It pretty much started at 1am, Creature burst through the flat like a baby elephant after having a few drinks with work to celebrate his promotion, with a card and small chunky wrapped box in hand. I had no idea what he was planning on buying me, & I never expect people to buy me anything grand.. Honestly I'm chuffed with a new pair of slippers!
So when I opened the wrapping to find a wooden box embossed with "Michael Kors", I burst out crying before I'd even seen what was inside!

He had bought me my dream watch.. I've been in love with the rose gold Michael Kors watches for some time, & Creature had actually promised if I get a 1st in my degree that he would buy me one as a congratulations gift.. But never would I guess that he would buy me it for my birthday.
It's safe to say I haven't stopped looking at it since getting it altered to fit my little wrist.

Later in the afternoon, after breakfast, a swift shopping trip & having my nails done. We were on a train and of to Liverpool to see my family for the first time in months.
I spent my Saturday making the rounds to my Dads, and grandparents houses - Time flying too quickly & umpteen cups of tea slurped in record time.

My Dad, the absolute legend, read my birthday wish list & actually got his paws on the limited edition GHD Sapphire box set for me, something I had promised to buy myself after Christmas! - They haven't disappointed either, my hair has never been so poker straight! (much to Daddio's annoyance - he loves my natural ringlet curls) But using them to create manageable curls works an absolute treat too!

The weekend was finished off with a party at my Mama's house with old friends & family. & as you can see, the birthday girl indeed got her cake.. Or well.. Squirty cream! - Cheers Daz!
Mama bought me an absolutely gorgeous kimono, along with a few other key wardrobe pieces I'll be putting together into a style post very soon. As well as some money towards my tattoo fund. I hope to get my next piece done in the new year - So stay tuned for that.

& finally, I'd just like to say a huge thanks to everybody who made my birthday weekend so special - Love to you all & see you in the new year!

Turning 23 | A birthday wishlist

It's November & I'm slowly creeping towards my 23rd birthday. Both Creature and family keep asking me what I want for gifts but honestly there's nothing I want so badly to ask for, which sounds utterly ridiculous for a blogger I know!

So, I've had a good hard think about things I would quite like to own & have complied a small list. Honestly none of these things are something I'd ever ask anyone to buy me. I'm really more than happy to receive a 5er in a card to put towards my ever growing list of tattoo designs & The Body Shop addiction. But the bits above are just 5 things that I'd like to have if I had the pennies to splurge.

You may be thinking, an advent calendar? - That's hardly a splurge worthy gift. But last December I was glued to my computer screen watching my favourite bloggers opening their very own Ciate nail polish advent calendar, eagerly waiting to see which beautiful colour came next & wishing I'd had the sense to buy one!

Hi my name is Kerys, & I'm a shoe addict. Pheww glad I got that off my chest!
Yeah, kind of a big lover of shoes & after seeing the Glamorous Jeffrey Campbell competition on facebook I've fell head over heels for the Everly cut out boots! - But with them being a depressing £130, It looks like I'll be trying to find a decent high street dupe instead!

Coco Chanel is a scent that always reminds me of my Mama, I was forever pinching a spritz when I was younger, much to her annoyance! - Saying that, I can completely understand now, because it comes at a pretty hefty price tag!
The GHDs are a pipe dream too, I can barely afford a pair of these myself & I'd die if I knew anyone spent that much on me. So it looks like I'll be putting together a "GHD fund" & saving until I can burn the S#*t out of my hair!

& finally, I've applied for a press pass for this years Clothes Show Live. This is probably the only birthday present that may seem within reach, I'll be without a doubt buying myself a ticket, as the 25th anniversary is not something I'm willing to miss out on!
So if any of my family are reading this, a few pennies towards what I know will be a very shopaholic frenzy day would be amazeballs!

What do you think of my birthday wish list?
