NOTD | Polka dot & Bows | #SheffieldMeetUp

Hey ladies!
(& gents if you're actually reading this!)

Totally dragging out my posts about the #SheffieldMeetUp! But with work taking up most of my time, its been nice to sit here and blog/schedule a nice bunch of posts about what was a fantastic day!
- I promise I will be posting about the day as a whole very soon & include some great photos of the goodies & lush products.

It wasn't until 11.30 the night before the meet up that I realised I still had plain natural nails. I bite mine quite a lot (despite numerous attempts at stopping with various lotions & potions) so usually I just slap on a set of falsies. If you've read my blog in the past you might have seen a few of my other NOTD's I have brought lately with Primark false nail sets. So far I haven't been disappointed with any of the sets I've tried and these ones were no different. Although I do think having them on all fingers may have looked a little too much, the bow and polka-dot design is cute as a button!
I teamed them instead with a nice iced ultraviolet pink shade by Sinful Colours. - A brand of which I stumbled across in a shop called Xtras in Leeds (all colours are only £2 too - What a steal!)

Vintage polka-dot #2 | NOTD

Hey girlies,

I'm still having a little bit of a love affair with Primarks £1 nail sets!
& I've brought you several posts about their nail collections lately including strawberry, red polka-dot, butterfly & moustache designs.

As I've mentioned in past posts, I opted not to use the adhesive provided with the nail set, I have some stronger nail glues which tend to give me a couple extra days wear.
I have to say, I really am in love with this design, its simple yet against a block coloured outfit it appears quite bold. & for someone like me who is terrible at nail art, its great knowing Primark have a fab range of designs I can pick up for pennies! I wore these over the weekend, for work and a cheeky few drinks with the boys in Leeds. So far they've been on on since Thursday and they've not fell off yet.. So a pretty good effort really for £1!

Primark seem to have atleast 3 new designs on the shelves each time I pop in so it looks like my string of NOTDs are likely to continue.. &&&& I have some fabulously garish new designs to show you very soon! Lady bugs and big bow design - Yes.

Mustache | NOTD

Another Primarni £1 steal!

Yep, I've gone all hipster, down with the kids & all that jazz. I have to admit, I actually love these, they are pretty cute and really simple. Although I have been wearing strawberry and bright candy striped nails lately I do like how I can literally pair these with anything.

Primark really are surprising my lately, again these aren't amazing quality but for the money they really are worth it. They bend pretty easy and you will need a stronger glue than the one provided, but so far these have lasted 4 days without any flicking off, which I think it pretty decent.
At the very least if you're looking for something funky for a night out, Primark nail are definitely worth a try.

Juicy strawberry | NOTD

Hey sweeties,

I'm continuing with my Primark £1 nail hype! The past few weeks I've shown you the Spring Butterfly & Vintage Polka-dot nails & once again I've found some more adorable (and wonderfully tacky) false nail sets.

These ones are brilliant. I love red nails & even tried last summer creating the strawberry design myself to no avail. shaky hands don't create nail works of art! So I'm really happy I found these.
At the moment I have only the thumb strawberries on and the rest of my nails are a plain bright red. But of course for the blogs sake I have snapped a picture with full strawberry nails.
I think I prefer the more subtle look however I wore the full set out whilst wearing a white dress and red heels & I must say they looked pretty cool!

Vintage polka-dot | NOTD

Hey ladies!

Bringing you a cute little NOTD today. I bought these little beauties for £1 from Primark!! - Yep Primark. I'll bring you a couple of these posts in the next few days as I have a few other designs to show you too, including some adorable blue and white nautical striped nails and some neutral nails with butterfly detailing too.

For £1 you really can't complain, I mean, yes the glue is really poor quality. But I'm a pretty regular false nail wearer so luckily I have some stronger glues to hand. (excuse the pun!)
They lasted a few days without flicking off, which for cheap nails I was really impressed with. These particular ones are definitely my favourites of the bunch though, their right up my street with the vintage inspired polka-dots.

Have you ever tried Primark false nails?
