I've been a very lucky girl! Last week I received a little letter from the lovely Hayley from Frock me I'm famous after winning her House of Fraser £100 voucher giveaway. And as I've not had time to actually spend it yet, I thought I'd have a gander on the website and create a little wish list. Obviously I cant have all of the above items but they're definitely things I'm considering!

Ok so first up is the coat from Glamorous, I had one very similar to this but more of a boyfriend fit (see here) however I accidentally left it in a bar, & forgot which one it was left in! - Doh! And at £25.50 this coat is an absolute steal, probably because it's spring & lets face it, we won't need coats for much longer, but still, I love the tweed and leather contrast.

I'm also completely in love with these Michael Kors sandals, they're exactly what I need for SS14. Simple, classy and fabulous! I'm almost certain that I'll be purchasing these if my local HoF store stocks them.. I also loved the Radley tote bag. I'm one of these crazy bag ladies that completely hoards handbags, recycle bags, any kind of bag! - So I thought, why not have a designer tote? & for £10 it's something too affordable not to buy.

Since moving into my new home with Creature, we've been buying loads of appliances but one thing I've wanted for the longest time is a coffee machine, This Nespresso machine comes in at a reasonable £89.99 and in a rage of colours. Although I'm pretty sure I'd go with a bright red one to brighten up my kitchen. & finally, no HoF wish list would be complete without at least considering splurging on Yankee Candles, I've a serious obsession with the brand and drive Creature crazy buying them all the time, but they make our flat smell delicious.

Mens Health | Superdry event

Hola amigos!

So, this week Superdry kindly invited me to their Mens Health event at the Trinity Leeds store. This was the last leg of their Superdry Superheroes tour around the country & the night was basically spent drinking lots of beer, playing table football & looking at great quality clothes.
The night was primarily for men, & the talk given to us by Mens Health introduced us to a great range of classic products from Superdry. I was pleasantly surprised though, my view of the brand has always been mid-high quality sports style wear, however I was blown away by their coat and formal jacket range. They really were lovely & definitely something I could imagine Creature wearing.
Creature is very much a simple man when it comes to fashion. He likes his classic straight cut jeans, fitted polo shirts & simple wool coats. He's a business man Monday-Friday so it's really important for him to look smart even when he's off duty. & the Superdry AW13 collections would without a doubt cater to his 'simple man' taste.

I also had the pleasure of meeting Amy Campbell, PR manager for the company. This lovely lady and I chatted over many beers & gave me some fantastic advice on breaking into public relations on graduating. I also learnt from her that Superdrys cosmetics range was trialled & hand picked by real people from the organisation to ensure the ones brought to the stores were perfect for us beauty obsessives! I have actually had lipsticks from Superdry before, & I can vouch that they're super pigmented, a gorgeous creamy texture & last pretty well. So naturally, I bought myself another!

As I was one of the first 50 people through the door on the night, I also received a free pair of headphones worth £44.99 on top of the lovely goody bag for Creature. Yep, it was all for Creach as the goody bag came with the latest issue of Mens health and a pair of boxers worth £14.99 (luckily in his size too! result!)

 I've been a little inspired lately. If you've been following Bo Blab you'll know I recently won a giveaway & its if I'm honest pushed me to enter a few more as I now realise I'm not completely jinxed & unlucky!

Creature will be pleased too as the Pink Fun the lovely people of Lush Meadowhall gave us in our Sheffield Blogger Meet Up Goody bag is a little too girly for him, but he can finally have a play with our new fun in the slightly more man friendly smell.

November Haul!

"Necessities, that's what these were! I swear!"

So if you've been reading my blog lately, you'll know I'm ridiculously poor thanks to my student loan being a ridiculous amount of weeks late! & once again after 2-3 weeks growing to 5-6 & now a whopping 9-12 week wait.. Well you get the picture. I'm brassic.

 

BUT, I am starting to run out of some key items in my wardrobe.. Like shoes, yep, I'm running out of wearable dolly shoes. I should probably invest in a decent expensive pair that'll last longer, but Primark pumps are too cheap to resist!

I also needed a new leather jacket.. mine ripped & its a very sad loss to my wardrobe, but thankfully I have replaced it with a really cheap & cheerful jacket.

 

So, wanna see what I splurged on?

So necessities right? okay, I suppose the dress wasn't technically a need, but more of a want.. But I seriously don't have many 'day' dresses, & the fabric is really thick and wintery so alls forgiven?

The bag is just to tide me over until I get my claws into a Cambridge Satchel. The quality of this one, even for Primark is a little on the poor side, but its cute & I like the colour so it'll do for now.

 

The biker jacket I'm in absolute love with. They had it in burgundy too, but I thought brown would fair better with my wardrobe. The collar is removable too! - & compared to the quality of the faux leather satchel, this leather is gorgeous and soft!
Can't wait to step out in my new gladrags!

 

As for all the cosmetics, I can't wait to start trying them & reviewing too. I've have the LipBOOM gloss on as we speak & I can already feel a very happy review coming (Its smells delicious!)

Love for Azure Boutique!

I posted last week about an amazing online jewellery store called Azure Boutique & how much I've fell in love with their handmade gorgeous pieces.

Well I was lucky enough to have been gifted a few pieces! I know! I'm so happy!
